Network 20/20 is an independent educational organization that engages rising private sector leaders in foreign policy. We provide briefings by leading foreign policy experts in intimate settings, conduct on-the-ground research trips in countries where there is a need for deeper understanding, and encourage networking among the group and with counterparts abroad. With its diverse, multinational membership and access to leading foreign policy experts, Network 20/20 provides a forum for an informed understanding of foreign policy.

We are seeking a full-time (Monday – Friday) twelve-week commitment. A stipend will be provided.

Internsip Description 

Network 20/20 is seeking an intern who is highly energetic, skilled, tactful, and entrepreneurial in spirit.  The intern will work closely with the President, the Program Coordinator, and the rest of the office staff to help with all aspects of Network 20/20’s operations. The position will entail juggling multiple tasks and relating to a wide variety of people. Because of the small nature of the organization, interns are exposed to the many aspects of Network 20/20. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage Network 20/20’s social media presence.
  • Assist staff in all aspects of arranging, preparing for, and executing the Briefing Series. This includes drafting letters of invitation, drafting event notices, preparing the database for events, arranging logistics, and participating in the events as needed.
  • Record and organize information relating to Network 20/20’s membership.
  • Undertake research assignments for our Entrepreneurial Diplomacy program as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as: Assisting with writing and updating the office protocol, and organizing promotional materials.

Qualifications

  • A current university-level student or recent graduate with an interest in international relations, foreign policy and/or program management.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and has a command of foreign policy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, research, and analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments or tasks and successfully meeting deadlines while producing high-quality work.MS Office experience – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Experience in event management, academic research and/or social media is preferred
