The Program Analyst in this role supports the development of international armaments cooperation agreements for a United States Air Force (USAF) Under Secretary Affairs Office.
More specific responsibilities include:
Develops, coordinates and manages bilateral and multinational armaments cooperation agreements for research and development
Lead for the development, staffing and negotiation process of Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) between the USAF and foreign industry
Country Desk Officer for international cooperative R&D activities
Assists in the development of reciprocal personnel exchanges between military and civilian members of the USAF and foreign partner nations
Attends meetings on behalf of the SAF/IA with foreign government personnel regarding cooperative efforts ensuring the implementation of appropriate export control guidance
Provides program assessments, budget reviews and recommendations to leadership for overall continuous USAF capability and foreign partner relationship enhancement.
At least 5 years analyst experience
Practical experience with international cooperative Research and Development programs
Written and oral communications skills appropriate for the position, including the ability to speak with authority on both technical and U.S. DOD policy issues
Tolerant of different cultures and able to work closely with allies
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work closely within a team environment
Bachelors degree in International Relations or related required
