The Department of International Affairs at the University of Georgia invites applications for two full time lecturer positions to begin in the fall semester of 2017. These are nine month academic year appointments that are renewable on an annual basis for up to six years.

The successful candidates are expected to teach 8 courses per year and to have teaching experience in the fields of international relations or comparative politics. The candidates should be able to teach introductory courses in the fields of international relations and comparative politics as well as offer upper division courses that are specific to the expertise of the candidates. A minimum of one year of teaching experience required. A Ph.D. or near-completed PhD in political science is required at the time of hiring. If still ABD, the Ph.D. requirement will have to be completed by June 30, 2017.
