Strategic Analysis, Inc., (SA) seeks a versatile, skilled Technical AdministrativeSpecialist (Executive Assistant) to join our exceptional team.Qualified candidates will meet the requirements detailed below necessary toprovidetechnical, analytical, financial, administrative, andspecialized support to our Government client. 



  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant field 

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience 

  • Knowledge of DoD organization(s) and structure. 

  • Ability to coordinate across large groups of people at multiple levels. 

  • Experience working with senior officials. 

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Visio, Excel, Project, Word and PowerPoint 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Experience using DTS and knowledge of Government Travel Regulations 


  • TOP SECRET, ability to obtain and maintain SCI. 

  • Contractors with a DCID 6/4 eligibility within the last five (5) years are highly desired.


The Technical Administrative Specialist provides senior level clerical and administrative support for senior executives in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense Research and Engineering and the Office of the Principal Deputy, the Office of the Principal Deputy/Finance Directorate and the Director of the Defense Laboratory Program Office.  The Technical Administrative Specialist should have knowledge and experience in management, international relations, international security and foreign affairs with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels of DoD and foreign governments. It is also essential that the Technical Administrative Specialist have the ability to provide administrative support for meetings, correspondence, and gathering background information to support senior officials’ attendance at international meetings. 

Additionally, the Technical Administrative Specialist will provide support through a variety of functions such as:

  • Maintain the calendars of office personnel and coordinate the daily activities and travel schedules to resolve conflicting priorities and requirements and ensure support for attendance at high profile meetings. 
  • Answer the telephone and refer the calls to other responsible individuals within the office. The administrative staff will serve as the interface with the public whenever there are inquiries concerning the office, including the greeting of high-level officials. 
  • Process incoming mail, including e-mail and facsimile, to route correspondence to the appropriate individual in the office for response and action. 
  • Maintain accountability of files and correspondence in the office, both in electronic and in paper form. 
  • Coordinate schedules with the travel coordinator to ensure Official Government Travel is prepared as needed. 
  • Provide backup support for duties typically performed by the Travel Coordinator and Special Compartmental Information (SCI) Facility Management and Correspondence Control specialist 
  • Monitor the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) database to ensure all taskers are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. 
  • Perform other relevant administrative and program support duties as requested
