Teaching a 3/3 course load, with courses in International or Comparative Political Economy, as well as additional courses in International Politics and/or Comparative Politics and the applicant’s area of regional specialty. Maintain an active research agenda leading to peer-reviewed publication. Service includes advising duties for Global Studies majors and other service to the department as assigned by Chair, as well as institutional service.
A strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Research agenda and expertise in Comparative Politics and/or International Relations. Candidate should have a PhD in Political Science or be ABD.
Preference will be given to candidates who research and teach about Latin America or Africa, but we are open to all geographic areas that would complement existing strengths in Eastern Europe/Russia and Asia.
