We have an exciting summer internship opportunity in Strategic Development for an undergraduate student studying international Affairs, Public Relations, International Marketing, or related major at an accredited university with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. This summer internship is a continuous ten week program, with two start dates June 4th, June 18th,ending respectively on August 10, 2018 and August 24, 2018.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under limited supervision, working on non-routine projects with general instruction and advanced projects with detailed instructions, this intern can expect to perform the following tasks: 

  • Assist in international campaigns in the areas of market research, strategy development, proposal development and other Strategic Development support tasks.

  • Will support and learn US Government advocacy strategy: COCOM’s, DSCA, SAF/IA, NIPO, State, OSD, etc.

  • Assist industrial collaboration strategy development in key emerging countries: India, Japan, Indonesia, Baltics, Nordics, etc

Qualifications

  • Typically requires enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at a recognized college or university.
  • Must possess the ability to understand new concepts and apply them accurately.
  • Must possess the ability to follow general and detailed instructions as well as organizational policies and procedures.
  • Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective interface with internal professionals.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Understanding of a second language is a plus.
  • Needs to have broad knowledge of national security policy.
  • Should possess basic knowledge of international market place.
  • Need to have strong written and verbal skills.
