This is a developmental position leading to the full performance grade level GG-11. The Security Specialist (Personnel) will be responsible for the administrative receipt and processing of personnel security background investigations of individuals assigned to or supporting sensitive, critical, noncritical positions and/or duties requiring access to classified, restricted, cryptographic, special program, public trust, and or other non-sensitive duties/functions. Review investigative information for completeness and accuracy and develop training materials to establish regulatory standards.
