Position description

The Boeing Company, Federal Affairs & International Policy is seeking a Government Relations Specialist. This level 2 position will be based out of our Arlington, VA location. 


  • Support critical operations activities for the Federal Affairs & International Policy Vice President, Chief of Staff, and team of Federal lobbyists 

  • Draft reports, presentations, and documentation for senior leaders at The Boeing Company 

  • Provide coordination, research, and analysis in support of the team working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including Congress, the Administration, and the Embassy community 

  • Track legislation/regulations/public policy issues and route information to subject matter experts for review 

  • Monitor hearings, news releases, and other events to support subject matter experts 

  • Provide assistance and coordination to the government relations company-wide focals on issues regarding the impact of government's activities

Typical Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in a role that required strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience utilizing the following MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Bachelors Degree or higher


  • Experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for Executives or Senior Leadership
  • Experience in government relations or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Policy, International Relations, International Affairs, Political Science, or related field
