Position description

We are looking for an EU Advocacy Officer to join our global advocacy team and play a key role in our day-to-day activities in Brussels.

Salary: Euro3,000 –  Euro3,200 per month gross, plus flexible benefits

Location:  Brussels (Rue de la Science 14, Brussels, 1040). There is a requirement to travel to HHC’s locations including London and East Clyffe near Salisbury in the UK, HHC country programmes and other locations, as required by the role.

Hours: This post is full-time basis, i.e. 38 hours per week, however, we offer a high degree of flexibility through our generous flexible and home working policy.

Contract type: Initially for 12 months with the possibility of being permanent at the end of this period.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong knowledge of the international development and human rights sphere and/or EU social policy. You will possess excellent communications skills and have a strong passion and commitment to children’s rights.
