World Politics Review, an online publisher of news and analysis on international affairs, is seeking an associate editor with knowledge of international affairs and geopolitics, and top-notch editorial skills. The associate editor will manage WPR's Q&A series, commissioning and editing email interviews on a range of subjects from qualified analysts. The associate editor will also write a weekly article for the site, and will have production responsibilities that require the use of our content management system.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for international affairs, display “perfect pitch” as an editor and writer, and be very comfortable with all the tools of digital publishing. This is not an entry-level position. It requires an experienced editor. Applicants must be based in New York City, or be willing to relocate or commute daily. Our Brooklyn office is small, collegial, and collaborative.
