GQR is looking for an Assistant Analyst to help lead the opinion research process for our international political and corporate clients.

9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST Monday through Friday.  Some after hours and weekend work as needed. Moderate travel required. 


We are looking for a hardworking and passionate professional to join our team as an Assistant Analyst. The ideal candidate has experience with public opinion research and managing both up and down in an office or campaign setting. They are curious, creative, and have a passion for telling a story from data. Our Assistant Analysts are comfortable working with numbers, are detailed-oriented, and possess strong oral and written communication skills.

This Assistant Analyst will report to the Vice President or Partner and will be responsible for assisting with the execution and implementation of qualitative and quantitative opinion research projects. They will work closely with our research partners and vendors to ensure methodology and research quality, and will work with the Operations department within the firm to help oversee best practices. Additionally, this Assistant Analyst will assist with drafting proposals, writing survey questionnaires and focus group guidelines, analyzing data results, developing and enhancing presentations and reports, and proofreading client deliverables. 



  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Communications, Market Research, International Relations, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of work experience in opinion research, political research, or market research
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills
  • Ability to work in a high stakes, fast-paced, rewarding environment
  • Detail-oriented and can work on multiple projects at a time
  • Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus, though not expected
  • Knowledge and experience with communication and digital strategies also a plus
