Position description

The Department of Political Science at Loyola Marymount University invites applications for a part-time Instructor of Political Science to teach one section of POLS3998 Model United Nations for 2018 Fall semester, beginning August 27, 2018. The position is a one-term appointment. Preferred candidates will have a Ph.D. in Political Science from an accredited university, with relevant teaching experience, though doctoral candidates with the completion of all degree requirements except dissertation will be considered. Prior experience with Model United Nations strongly preferred. Job responsibilities include classroom instruction, course content, and regular office hours with students. Part-time faculty are expected to hold 2 on-campus office hours per section each week.
