Working closely with the Vice President (International), the Head of the International Relations Office is responsible for leading the team tasked with developing the College’s academic partnerships with international organisations including universities, governments and funding agencies. The Head plays a central role in the development and delivery of the College’s international engagement strategy, ensuring this is closely aligned with, informed by, and complementary to the core academic mission of the College.

The post-holder is required to work flexibly across world regions in order to develop and support new strategic international opportunities as the need arises. The post-holder is responsible for managing a range of important relationships for the College, seeking to maximise joint value across activities in research, education and innovation. The post-holder also plays a key role in facilitating, coordinating and shaping international activity across the College and helping to identify new initiatives and opportunities, working closely with the relevant academics and Faculties.
