Mondoweiss​ is growing and we’re looking a strong writer to join our team as a U.S.-based news reporter. This is a great opportunity for knowledgeable professionals looking to use their skills and passion to cover U.S. politics as it pertains to human rights in Palestine.

 

Mondoweiss​ is an independent website devoted to informing readers about developments in Israel/Palestine and related US foreign policy. We provide news and analysis unavailable through the mainstream media regarding the struggle for Palestinian human rights.We publish original reporting, analysis by scholars, and personal stories. As the site has grown,we have developed a large group of regular contributors who are committed to high journalistic standards of documentable evidence and reliable sourcing. About the Position

Mondoweiss​ is seeking a News Reporter to cover the intersection of U.S. politics, the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the Palestine solidarity movement. We are looking for someone familiar and engaged with the news world and ready to work in the fast-paced environment of anew media news organization. This position will be responsible for original news reporting,news aggregation, and analytical essays on issues related to Palestine in the U.S. political sphere.Strong candidates will be able to tell accurate stories fairly and with an entertaining style.

The position will be full-time (35 hours/week), exempt, reporting directly to one of the Co-Editors, and will be ​remote ​(you will work from your own site)​.​ We are open to considering a substantial part-time role if a candidate submits a persuasive proposal.
