Weber Shandwick’s Brussels EU Public Affairs team has an opportunity for an astute, dynamic and entrepreneurial Public Affairs Manager with 4-5 years of EU Energy and Climate policy experience to join our team as Manager, EU Energy & Climate policy.
The manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of client relationships and account teams. These responsibilities include recommending programs and activities coordinating with client’s goals, effectively delegating projects, offering counsel to clients active in the energy and climate policy field and managing teams and agency resources to match client’s budgets.
The Manager, in close cooperation with the Account Directors, will be responsible for the day-to-day running of client business, taking the leading role in ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget. The main services to be ensured by the Manager include the crafting, designing and execution of policy advocacy for clients (including the integration of other teams such as media relations or digital communications); ensuring deliveries by our team of policy analysts and researchers; overseeing the organisation of communication platforms such as events and conference; lead on the execution of ad-hoc projects, etc.
The Manager will also participate to the financial management of the team and will have responsibilities for the growth of the energy & climate portfolio and for finding new, challenging clients.
