In order to lead the Expert Support Services (ESS) efforts in Europe, Enhesa is seeking a manager (f/m) with 5-10 years of experience in the EHS field in both project and people management.

Position Description

The ESS team assists multinationals in the design, roll-out and implementation of their global and local EHS compliance programs. This is done through a suite of client-tailored services that complements Enhesa standard regulatory compliance offering. The ESS team has both a client facing and an EHS project management dimension.

The main responsibilities of the manager of the European ESS team include:

  • Managing global EHS regulatory compliance projects with internal or external resources;
  • Determining applicable requirements and providing an overview of key compliance priorities (off-site and on-site);
  • Managing and carrying out EHS compliance audits in Europe;
  • Participating to pre-sales and renewal discussions;
  • Understanding clients’ specific needs and scoping projects accordingly;
  • Training corporate and local EHS managers as part of roll-out of Enhesa standard services;
  • Designing and providing training to Enhesa EHS regulatory consultants teams;
  • Managing the European ESS team’s resources for the successful completion of the above-listed responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in an EHS consulting firm or in the industry, with responsibilities related to EHS issues;
  • Engineering, science, or law degree, specialisation in environmental and/or health and safety law is an asset;
  • Practical on-site EHS experience;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Strong People management and communication skills;
  • Fluency in English is essential. Additional language skills are an advantage;
  • Ability to work independently across multiple time zones is essential;
  • Experience in supporting and working with Sales;
  • Computer proficiency: CRM, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

This is a full-time position based in Brussels.
