Performs the full range of professional responsibilities required to help develop, implement, manage, and analyze the internationalization opportunities for FCPS teachers and students; ensures smooth international travel program operations; acts as a liaison between FCPS schools/offices and outside businesses and organizations; assists schools in providing curriculum-aligned internationalization instruction in K-12 classrooms; develops and oversees communications, programming and professional development related to internationalization; and performs other duties as required and assigned.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in international relations, world languages, education or related field, plus two years of progressive related experience. International travel and/or living experience preferred. Must possess technology skills including use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps. Can demonstrate ability to conduct trainings, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work with deadlines, and collaborate with a wide variety of audiences; and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
