International GEOINT Program Staff Officer

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for the support and execution of authorities and agreements with international partners, assist with the coordination and execution of international agreements across the NGA, DOD, and the IC, and provide technical assessments of capabilities of international partners and their support to national security priorities. Assist with the coordination and hosting of international visitors and assist country desk officers with researching, gathering, and compiling informational material for programs and initiatives, including information in support of foreign visits or travel. Interpret DoD and IC policy for foreign partnerships, IT systems, and physical access and use that knowledge to inform and recommend action to the client. Organize stakeholders from the DoD, IC, and foreign partner organizations to make decisions on important bilateral and multilateral activities or implement resolved action as a federated community. Draft policy, guidance, and detailed reports on complex and sensitive areas in foreign policy, NGA policy, and community policy for intelligence-sharing. Facilitate meetings with US and foreign stakeholders, including drawing connections and creating understanding based on knowledge of perspectives and unique challenges of the actors to come to consensus. Provide ad hoc support to foreign liaisons assigned to the client.


Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with supporting international policy
-Ability to conduct independent research
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
-Ability to conduct international travel, as needed
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with international DoD or IC programs
-Experience in working with the NGA
-Experience with meeting or conference facilitation
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-BA or BS degree in International Affairs or related field
