Position description

EU-CORD is offering a six-month internship position based in its Brussels Secretariat, starting in September 2025. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience at the heart of a European network of Christian relief and development organisations. The intern will contribute to a range of activities that support EU-CORD’s advocacy, communications, and programme coordination efforts.

Working closely with the CEO and Director of Advocacy and Lobbying, the intern will assist in monitoring EU policy developments, attending external meetings, and producing relevant updates for network members. The role also includes supporting communications tasks such as drafting newsletters, updating the website, and contributing to social media. In addition, the intern will help with the planning and documentation of ongoing projects across the Secretariat’s areas of work.

The position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, an interest in international development and EU policy, and a willingness to engage with faith-sensitive approaches to social impact. Applicants must be eligible to work in Belgium and qualify under either a Convention d’immersion professionnelle or Stagiaire scolaire framework.
