ICANN, Head of Global Human Resources

 

ICANN and its vibrant community coordinates the Internet’s unique identifier systems in order to ensure a global, stable and secure Internet. ICANN was established in 1998 as a not-for-profit, public-benefit corporation with participants from all over the world dedicated to its global public interest mission. ICANN performs the key technical and operational role of ensuring that the Internet's unique identifier systems are secure, stable and resilient. ICANN uses a unique, bottom-up, volunteer-driven multistakeholder model to facilitate community development of policies for the management of unique identifiers.

 

ICANN’s mission impacts every country across every continent and requires engaging with a global community of actively participating stakeholders representing governments, businesses, academia, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and individuals - all of whom are dedicated to this global public interest mission.

 

The Head of Global Human Resources (HR) is responsible for shaping and executing ICANN’s people strategy. As a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Team, this role ensures that HR initiatives align with business objectives and contribute to building and maintaining a thriving, high-performance culture. The Head of Global HR will drive talent strategy, leadership development and organization effectiveness, with a strong focus on people and business needs.

 

The Head of Global HR will be a strategic, proactive and emotionally intelligent leader with deep understanding of international HR strategies, policies and best practices. They will possess high integrity with extensive experience in employee relations, training and development, and performance management. The Head of Global HR should have extensive HR leadership experience, with experience leading a global staff and supporting a global employee population.
