LYKKE ADVICE is a boutique consultancy based in Belgium and established in 2016. Our focus is on providing public affairs advice primarily to SMEs and trade associations. We specialise in EU policies and how to influence them. Our clients span across multiple sectors – e.g., agriculture, climate adaptation, health, and energy. ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a dynamic communication-oriented intern who is willing to learn and contribute to our small team by working with clients across varying sectors. The intern will get a grasp of public affairs at the EU level and help us with corporate communications. They should have a particular interest in the fields of EU communications and public affairs.

TASKS

  • Help clients to monitor, research and analyse relevant policies at the EU level;
  • Help research and write opinions on relevant EU discussions for our website;
  • Manage Lykke Advice’s social media – especially LinkedIn;
  • Help clients with data collection, processing and analysis;
  • Attend relevant events on behalf of clients.

Qualifications

  • Quick learner, ability to grasp complex concepts rapidly;
  • A relevant University-level education (master's degree) e.g. EU Studies, Communication or International Relations;
  • Fluent oral and written communication in English – other languages are an asset;
  • Strong research and analysis skills;
  • Team-player, proactive and inquisitive mindset;
  • Ability to work individually;
  • Familiar with Microsoft software such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Experience working with CANVA;
  • Experience working with LinkedIn and other social media;
  • Basic skills in graphic design, animation and/or video making.

WHAT WE OFFER

The internship will run from the 1st of September until the 27th of February 2026 (6 months). We offer you the possibility to learn, engage with the EU and build a network in Brussels for the future. The contract will be a convention d’immersion professionnelle.
