Position description
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager will lead IFES’ program monitoring, evaluation reporting in Bangladesh.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of M&E;
- Develop and manage program tracking and reporting tools; work with partners and IFES staff to orient on tracking tool use;
- Collect monitoring and evaluation data for activities, including through monitoring visits as needed;
- Conduct monitoring visits to project activities;
- Ensure IFES’ compliance with data entry into performance monitoring systems across three donors (e.g. TrainNET, DevResults);
- Compile and review partner data for donor reporting;
- Assist with implementing program evaluations, as necessary;
- Lead the development of documents including promotional/background materials, external communications, internal and donor reports, project proposals, and correspondence;
- Advise staff on program-related monitoring planning and implement
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
Experience:
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experience;
- Preference for MEL leadership in governance-focused programming;
- Demonstrated experience developing M&E frameworks, data collection tools, and maintaining MEL platforms for international programming;
Skills/Knowledge:
- Working level proficiency in Word, Excel and other reporting software.
- The ability to remain organized while handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
- Ability to show initiative, good judgment and resourcefulness.
Other Requirements:
- This position is opened for Bangladeshi nationals only and is based in Dhaka with potential for some travel outside Dhaka.
