Location: Brussels (we work flexibly with at least 2-3 days per week together in the office and the rest from home).
Contract Type: Full-time, fixed term until 31 December 2026 (with the potential to extend, depending on funding).
Start Date: 5 January 2026.
Reports to: Senior Advocacy and Campaigns Consultant.
Salary and Benefits: €35-40k depending on experience, plus a discretionary annual bonus, a 6% employer pension contribution, and the right to work from any location for up to 25 working days per year.

The Role
We are seeking a Strategic Communications Consultant - EU. This is a great opportunity to be quickly immersed in a small, dynamic organisation that places a strong focus on team and personal development. The successful candidate will quickly develop their skills in strategic communications further, building from their experience to explore new creative ways to have an impact via media, social media and campaigns. They will work closely with the Senior Advocacy and Campaigns Consultant, EU Director and other senior leaders as part of our small and energetic team.
The Strategic Communications Consultant - EU will support the team in implementing a major new project supported by the Gates Foundation. This project is in the early stages of launching the ‘Strategic Communications and Advocacy Lab (SCAL)’ at the EU level. The Lab is designed to shift dominant narratives around Official Development Assistance (ODA), and to create the political space for government action on this.
