About this Position:

As IP Paris Liaison Officer, you will be based in the shared office of EuroTech in Brussels. In your role, you will represent IP Paris within joint EuroTech activities, and strengthen IPP’s own network and initiatives in Brussels.   • Solid understanding of European funding mechanisms (e.g. Horizon Europe, Erasmus+), policy initiatives, and institutions;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a European or international setting, preferably in research, higher education, public affairs, or EU project development;
  • Outstanding communication and networking skills across cultures and professional hierarchies;
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in hybrid, international teams;
  • Strategic thinking, proactivity, reliability, and a results-driven work style;
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as required;
  • Advanced knowledge of standard office software.
Tasks & responsibilities:
  • Represent IP Paris in the EuroTech Universities Alliance, contributing to the development and delivery of the Brussels Office roadmap and cooperating with the EuroTech team on joint initiatives;
  • Contribute to political outreach and influence efforts, including through policy dialogues and the development of policy reports and papers for the strategic positioning of IP Paris and EuroTech in Brussels;
  • Serve as an adviser on EU policy, with a particular focus on research, education, and innovation agendas, and provide strategic intelligence and policy monitoring on EU-level developments;
  • Manage relationships, on behalf of IP Paris as well as EuroTech, with the European Commission, the European Parliament and other stakeholders in the European Union’s higher education, research and innovation landscape;
  • Lead and develop EuroTech activities within specific topics, initiatives and Focus Areas under IP Paris leadership;
  • Organise and contribute to joint workshops, webinars, roundtables, and networking events;
  • Drive and support Horizon Europe proposals and other strategic funding applications;
  • Promote collaboration with third countries associated with Horizon Europe;
  • Support IP Paris’ European initiatives and visiting delegations in Brussels;
  • Animate a growing IP Paris community participating in EuroTech activities; strengthen internal communications at IP Paris, raising the visibility of the EuroTech Brussels office and its activities, and contribute to internal information sessions with the Grants Office;
  • Prepare reports, updates, newsletters and other documents for EuroTech stakeholders and IP Paris leadership, faculty, and staff;
  • Support the development of institutional partnerships between IP Paris and EuroTech member universities.
Our offer:

In this versatile role, you will represent one of Europe’s top science and technology institutions in Brussels. As a member of the EuroTech community, you will be in a unique position to connect Europe with IP Paris, and IP Paris to its EuroTech partners.
