Project Based Researcher: US – Asia Policy (Security, Business, Trade & Economy)

Position description

We are seeking project-based Research Contributors or Expert Writers with a strong understanding and deep insight of U.S. policy and engagement in Asia, especially in the areas of:

• Security and strategic affairs
• Trade and investment policy
• Business diplomacy
• Economic relations with ASEAN, China, or the Indo-Pacific

You may be an academic, analyst, independent consultant, or practitioner with deep interest or expertise in these topics. If you can produce sharp, well-reasoned insights — in article, brief, or report form — we want to hear from you.

Nature of Work:

• Project-based contributions: length will be adjusted based on the research topic
• Formats: Research pieces, strategic summaries, timeline analysis
• Work is remote and asynchronous
• Attribution will be provided unless anonymity is preferred

What You’ll Get:

• Remuneration per project (negotiable based on scope)

Preferred Background:

• Experience in political science, international relations, policy research, or regional affairs
• Prior work related to U.S.-Asia relations is highly preferred
• Strong English writing ability
