Leidos has an immediate opening for a Policy Analyst with previous data analysis/data reconciliation experience to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Stockpile Services Division within Defense Programs. This individual will be responsible for nuclear weapon stockpile accountability activities and transactions within the Logistics, Accountability, Planning, & Scheduling Accountability (LAPS-A) program. The individual will support the Federal Program Manager (FPM) and coordinate with other Defense Programs (DP) offices, the Department of Defense (DOD), and DOE Laboratories, Plants, and Sites (LPS). The work requires an individual with demonstrated attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, ability to work in a highly dynamic environment, and capacity to interface with a broad range of federal and military senior staff and leadership. This is a full-time contractor-support position located on-site at the NNSA offices in Albuquerque, NM.

The Logistics, Accountability, Planning, & Scheduling Accountability (LAPS-A) program is responsible for nuclear weapon stockpile accountability to assure the accuracy of daily transactions, file exchanges, end-of-month and year-end reconciliations. Additionally, the program is responsible for executing Joint Staff-directed Stockpile Emergency Verification (SEV) exercises. These activities require detailed coordination among various NNSA, DOD, and DOE organizations to resolve anomalies and document corrective actions to mitigate audit challenges.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Execution of daily data exchange activities in the Logistics, Accountability, Planning, & Scheduling Accountability (LAPS-A) database.
      • Completion of monthly and annual reconciliation processes with the DOD and Pantex.
      • Research and resolution of LAPS-A database anomalies.
      • Providing assistance to other organization, sites, and agencies as needed.
      • Execute Joint Staff-directed Stockpile Emergency Verification (SEV) exercises.
      • Work in classified environments and handle classified and sensitive information in compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience in a classified or sensitive data management or analysis. Or a Master’s degree with 6+ years’ experience in a classified or sensitive data management or analysis.
      • Active DOE security clearance or an active DOD Top Secret clearance
      • Staff experience in military, government, or corporate enterprise
      • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with particular emphasis on word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel)
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Willingness to travel, estimated 10%

Desired Qualifications:

      • Previous experience with the LAPS-A database or DIAMONDS
      • Proven ability to understand XML schematics and troubleshoot accordingly
      • Knowledge of/or experience with project management best practices and principles
      • Nuclear weapons experience and/or Interagency experience
      • Experience with MS SharePoint sites/libraries

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
