The School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies (SIGS) at the University of South Florida (USF) invites applications for a 9-month, full time and tenure-earning Assistant Professor position beginning on August 7, 2026. The teaching load is two courses per semester (four courses per academic year). Salary is negotiable.
The School seeks a broadly trained scholar in peace studies, whose research adopts an innovative approach to the major challenges of a declining liberal international order. We especially welcome applications with research interests that fall in one or more of the following areas: Conflict resolution, peacebuilding, environmental sustainability, nuclear non-proliferation, proxy war, ethnopolitics, mass migrations, and third-party mediation.
