Cohesityis currently looking to hire a Government Relations Managerfor itsGovernment Relationsgroup. The role will be basedinWashington, DC.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

Support federal government relationsand public policyteamsbyworkingon aportfolio of legislative and regulatory initiatives and reporting on political and policy developments

Develop relationships with external stakeholders in Congressand the Administration

Collaborate andsupportfederal advocacyrelated toCohesity’s policy priorities

Conduct research,support analysis, and contribute toteam projects,deliverables,andpresentationsona diverse range of legislativeandpolicytopics

Develop briefing materials for internal stakeholders on legislativeand regulatoryissues

Develop and drive advocacy andoutreachstrategiesbefore Congresson issues important to the business

Engage with industry associations and third-party coalitions on relevant issues

The successful candidate will possess:

Proven ability to self-direct work and work as part of a team in a dynamic, cross-functional environment

An ability to develop and maintainpoliticalrelationships

An understanding of the legislative and regulatory process

Strong legislative analysis skills

Strong presentation and communication skills

Excellent writingandresearch skills

The Team Core functions:

Promote and protectCohesity’sbusiness interests by engaging policymakers andotherpolicyinfluencers

Collaborate with stakeholders across thecompanyto drive the development of public policy positions

Identify and conduct analysesontrending legislative, regulatory, and public policy issuesthat may impact thecompany

Build and maintain relationships with members of Congress, administration officials, and key policy influencers (e.g., think tanks, industry associations)

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

5-7 yearsof professional experience in the legislative, policy,or relatedfields

Understanding of the legislative, regulatory, and policymaking processes

Strongwriting,presentation,and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience working on Capitol Hill,regulatory agencies,orgovernment affairs organizations

Strong network on Capitol Hill, proven ability to build bipartisan relationships

Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment

Experience working on cyber policy issues and the federal appropriations process

Experiencein a role with extensive writing,research,and legislative analysisresponsibilities

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$122,400.00-$153,000.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
