Shaping the Future of Global Leadership

Are you ready to take part in shaping a global platform for peace and international cooperation?

Humanitarian Affairs Asia is inviting applications from emerging leaders worldwide to serve on the Youth Organising Committee for the 6th Global Peace Summit 2027, to be convened at the United Nations Conference Centre.

This Committee represents a limited and carefully selected body of young leaders entrusted with stewarding the strategic direction, institutional partnerships, and operational execution of the Summit. Service on the Committee will extend from 17 August 2026 to 22 January 2027.

Members appointed to the Committee will be based at the Humanitarian Affairs Asia Secretariat in Bangkok and will undertake substantive responsibilities across programme development, formal correspondence with international stakeholders, diplomatic liaison, strategic communications, and governance coordination.

The Committee will work directly with institutional partners and multilateral actors, functioning not only as an operational team but also as a strategic leadership body contributing to the Summit’s intellectual direction and global positioning.

Committee Responsibilities

Members of the Youth Organising Committee will contribute to:

      3. Delegate outreach and recruitment of global youth leaders
      4. Formal correspondence with institutional stakeholders
      5. Strategic communications and global outreach initiatives

Allowance

To support the period of service, Humanitarian Affairs Asia will provide selected appointees with a monthly living stipend of THB 15,000 to assist with accommodation and meals during the engagement.
