Intelligence Officer

Position description

This job requires military service with a contract as a commissioned officer in the Air Force. The application is for a specific position within the Air Force.

Position Summary

One of the most valuable assets to mission success and the safety of our Airmen is highly classified information and its protection. As an Air Force intelligence officer, you’ll support combat operations and protect internal information while collecting data from external threats. You’ll also get the flexibility to decide which state to serve in while you work closely with other military and government agencies to gather intelligence and analyze it.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in mission completion by evaluating an adversary’s capability and vulnerabilities.
• Develop tactics to prepare for missions.
• Produce accurate intelligence analysis.
• Integrate analysis and combat operations.

Qualifications

To be considered you must meet the following requirements:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in science, humanities, social sciences, structured analysis, engineering or mathematics
• Completion of required training courses
• Completion of 12 months in commissioned service after completing the Intelligence Officer Initial Skills course performing intelligence functions
• Completion of a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
• Completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC)
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 39
