The Department of Government at The University of Texas at Austin is hiring a Postdoctoral Fellow. The selected fellow will have access to additional funds for research support, visiting speakers, and/or conference travel. The department will also assign fellows (1) research assistants through the Departments’ Undergraduate Research Internship Program; (2 ) a teaching assistant for the one semester they are teaching (teaching load is 1-0); and (3) a faculty mentor in the substantive subfield. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in political science or an adjacent field by August 1, 2026.

Purpose
