Position description
Main responsibilities
- Support the Industrial Policy and Sustainability Team in drafting position papers and responses to public consultations;
- Monitor and report on EU-related news and key dossiers, focusing on their impact on hydrogen related matters;
- Prepare briefings and documents tailored to diverse audiences and purposes;
- Assist in organising and facilitating internal meetings and teleconferences;
- Support the coordination and organisation of Hydrogen Europe events and meetings.
Qualifications
Requirements
- University degree (preferably advanced) in EU studies, Political Science, International Relations, Law or an energy-related field;
- Prior experience to EU institutions and decision-making processes is considered an asset;
- Background in carbon policy, clean technologies, or industrial decarbonisation is highly desirable;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarise complex information clearly and concisely;
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work, even under pressure;
- High curiosity and eagerness to learn about the hydrogen sector and membership organisations.
Skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously;
- Advanced computer literacy (MS Office suite and online collaboration tools);
- Proactiveness, meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy;
- Discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
