Minimum Salary: $75,000, Maximum Salary: $85,000
The Century Foundation (TCF), a progressive, independent think tank, seeks an Executive and Development Coordinator that plays a critical dual role in supporting strategic coordination while advancing the organization’s fundraising and development efforts.
This position is a member of the Operations team. This role is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our New York City office. All hybrid employees are required to be in-office a minimum of two days per week. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package, as outlined below.
Responsibilities
Executive Coordinator (50%)
- Manage executive team calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and assist in expense reporting.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
- Coordinate entry of executive team activities into development and finance systems, as appropriate.
- Handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Support organizational operations, board activities, and special projects, as needed.
Development and Finance (50%)
- Complete administrative and logistical tasks that support all fundraising and development initiatives including data entry, moves management tracking, grants management data entry, and gift processing.
- Review day-to-day donor entries in organizational databases up to date to ensure timely management of revenue, grant budgets, and grant reporting.
- Assist in identifying prospective donors and opportunities for increased engagement and philanthropic support and prepare donor profile briefings.
- Assist with organizing meetings and distributing agendas and related materials.
- Serve as the data manager for development operations, including generating accurate call lists, creating and running reports, documenting development operations processes, and tracking donor outreach and call notes.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in administrative support, development, or nonprofit operations.
- Experience with CRM systems (such as Salesforce) is a plus.
- Experience with meeting scheduling and calendar planning is a plus.
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills or techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
TCF offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range determined by years of experience, skills, and abilities. Each candidate’s placement within the range will be based on these factors while ensuring alignment with our commitment to equitable internal pay practices. TCF is a unionized workplace and is represented by the Communications Workers of America (CWA1180). This position is not in the bargaining unit.
TCF benefits include health, dental. vision, and life insurance, and an employer-funded health reimbursement account (HRA). This benefit package is in addition to generous vacation, sick and personal days, an employer matching 403(b) plan, and up to fourteen weeks parental leave.
The salary range for this position is $75,000—$85,000.
