Assistant Lecturer (with functional title of Senior Teaching Associate) in the Department of Politics and Public Administration (2 posts) (Ref.: 536263) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree and have extensive knowledge of international relations or comparative politics. They should have experience in researching and teaching a range of courses in an international environment and have outstanding pedagogical skills.
The appointee will be expected to deliver postgraduate and possibly undergraduate courses offered by the Department, conduct tutorials and perform any other academic-related duties as assigned by the Department.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
