Deputy Vice President, International Advocacy (Market Access)

Position description

The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) is seeking a Deputy Vice President for the International Advocacy team to support its global market access advocacy efforts. This position will lead the development and implementation of policy positions, advocacy strategies, and stakeholder engagement activities focused on improving patient access to innovative medicines in major global markets.

Reporting to the Deputy Vice President, International Advocacy, the Deputy Vice President will serve as a senior leader on international market access issues, including government pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment (HTA), healthcare financing, value assessment frameworks, and other policies affecting patient access to innovative medicines. The individual will work collaboratively across the organization and with member companies, other trade associations, consultants, and government stakeholders to advance PhRMA’s strategic priorities in key markets around the world.

This Washington, DC-based role requires strategic leadership, strong policy expertise, and the ability to operate independently while managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships across multiple geographies and issue areas.

Potential Salary

$187,100-266,700 per annum. Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
