Position description

Our Associates support the overall research and due diligence process for Kroll’s Risk & Compliance practice area.  Associates manage cases from start to finish, conducting extensive Internet, database, and media research into companies and individuals to provide our clients with an accurate assessment of the status, legitimacy, general background, and overall reputation of a subject company and its principals.  Our Associates’ work enables our clients to make informed, strategic decisions that have a huge impact on their organizations.  As a result, we place a high value on our talent and seek candidates with a high level of conscientiousness, integrity, and professional pride. 

Our Associates are excellent researchers for both foreign-language and English language research. The right candidate will have outstanding English language reading and writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, a sense of curiosity, the ability to learn quickly, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.


  • Conducting extensive primary and secondary web-based research
  • Identifying relevant information and developing useful insights into research subjects
  • Writing and editing of research reports for client use
  • Tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of cases
  • Contacting the client as required by supervisor
  • Confirming the accuracy, logic and overall quality of research reports


  • Undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited university majoring in: International Relations/Affairs, Regional Studies, Political Science, or other related areas of study.
  • 1-3 years of experience specifically in due diligence research is required
  • Superior comprehension and analytical abilities
  • Extremely strong English-language writing skills
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Customer-service orientation with a dedication to quality
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and self-driven environment
  • Ability to prioritize several projects and assignments on multiple topics while meeting tight deadlines
  • Professional communication skills
  • Interest and understanding of current events, international affairs, economics and/or finance
  • Organizational and time management competency required
