Position description

In order to be considered eligible for an internship, the following criteria must be fulfilled: a. Be a recent graduate or current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme, preferably in communications and/or international relations, from a university or higher education facility accredited by UNESCO; and b. Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of UNHCR.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to UNHCR country and regional operations receiving European funding, to ensure field visibility is achieved within the legally agreed framework;
  • Track and report on the visbility given to the EU-UNHCR partnership in Brussels, the European Union and at field level;
  • Develop and manage online presence and relevant social media channels to highlight the EU-UNHCR partnership;
  • Set up and implement visibility and awareness activities on the EU-UNHCR partnership in Brussels;
  • Perform other duties as required.
