Position description

The Carnegie Mellon Institute for Strategy and Technology (CMIST) is seeking applicants for a special faculty part-time Lecturer position for the fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate will teach a graduate course, "Employing Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Policy Analysis," for the MS Security, Technology, and International Relations. This course is designed for graduate students on the Pittsburgh campus and will meet twice per week for 80-minute sessions throughout the fall 2026 semester, from mid-August through mid-December.

Compensation for teaching the full semester course will be $11,000.

Qualifications:
