China Daily USA is seeking a news editor with a strong journalism background and expertise in China-U.S. relations. This role will be responsible for curating, writing, and strategizing newsletter content, ensuring that publications are engaging, insightful, and relevant to our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute editorial strategies for the newsletter, focusing on China-U.S. relations.
- Curate and write engaging content, including news summaries, analysis, and opinion pieces.
- Stay updated on major developments in U.S.-China relations, identifying key trends and issues to cover.
- Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to refine publication content.
- Optimize newsletter formatting and distribution for maximum reader engagement.
Qualifications
- Journalism background with experience in reporting, editing, or news analysis.
- Strong understanding of China-U.S. relations, including political, economic, and cultural dynamics.
- Experience in newsletter writing and digital publishing.
- Excellent editorial judgment and ability to distill complex topics into concise and compelling content.
