Position description

In this role, you will implement the Brussels-based activities of our Food System work, carry out advocacy activities towards EU institutions on new intensive farming systems and lobby on related files in partnership with other political advisers and programme leaders.

Eurogroup for Animals is the pan-European animal protection organisation which unites the voices of leading national and international organisations. We work to improve the welfare of as many animals as possible by leading and delivering coordinated advocacy and campaigns at European level. Eurogroup for Animals uses its knowledge and expertise to challenge EU decision makers and bring about positive change. By uniting our members and working together we magnify national activities to get our message across at European level. Eurogroup for Animals is a founding member of the World Federation for Animals (WFA), our global sister organisation.

Eurogroup for Animals’ farm animal programme aims at transformative food system change by significantly reducing animal protein production and consumption. We do this by enhancing the uptake of plant-based diets and cellular agriculture products in tandem with driving systemic change in animal farming as well as by halting the development of new intensive farming systems, such as insect farming for feed.
