ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels provides support on technical, market and policy developments for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with EU decision-makers, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Operations Manager to join our Market and Operations section. Do you have strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in operation of the pan-European power system, and the ability to build consensus in complex stakeholder environments? Are you passionate about shaping the future of energy in Europe, but as well supporting the robustness of the current operational processes followed by the TSOs?

Based in the ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels, you will report to the Head of Markets & Operations. You will manage a team of 6 specialists, providing leadership, direction, and development support to deliver on high-priority regulatory and operational projects. You will work collaboratively across all sections of the Secretariat to ensure strategic alignment and effective reporting to our governance bodies.
This role requires regular engagement with key European stakeholders such as the European Commission, ACER, and the EU DSO Entity. It allows for hybrid working setup with partial remote flexibility and requires occasional travel (around 5 times per year).
