The European Network Against Racism (ENAR) is looking for a researcher to develop a factsheet on alternative, sustainable and solidarity economic models with a decolonial and anti-racism approach.
In this role, the consultant will review literature and conduct interviews to identify and analyse transformative economic approaches — such as wellbeing, solidarity, degrowth and post-growth models — assessing their compatibility with anti-racist and decolonial principles. The research will also explore economic systems theorised or practised by racialised communities, and propose indicators for a racially just, intersectional and sustainable economy.
The final deliverable will be a 10–15-page factsheet aimed at activists, organisers and policymakers across Europe.
Profile:
ENAR seeks a researcher experienced in applying decolonial, anti-racist and intersectional frameworks to economic analysis, with a strong understanding of heterodox and new economic models, and proven research experience (desk research and interviews).
