We are now looking for afull-time Philanthropy Associate, which is a dual role within The Guardian andtheguardian.org, a US-based 501c3 non-profit with the mission to advance public discourse and citizen participation around the most pressing issues of our time through the support of independent journalism and editorial projects at the Guardian.
The Philanthropy Associate will support the operational functions of the Philanthropy team, particularly as it relates to individual giving. Their core responsibilities will include database management, project management, donor stewardship, and prospect research.
The Philanthropy Associate will join a small and collaborative Philanthropy team (6 people total, including this role). They will report directly to the Individual Giving Officer and work closely with the Executive Director; VP of Philanthropy, Strategic Partnerships and Events; the Head of Impact Strategy and Philanthropy; and Operations Specialist.
