The research assistant position provides individuals with the opportunity to work closely with experts in economics and public policy and to develop the fundamental skills needed to succeed in these fields. In particular, research assistants are responsible for the following tasks:
A successful individual will be able to work simultaneously and independently in multiple areas of research, quickly learning new topics, methods, and statistical software packages, as needed.
